Legal Disclaimer and Waiver of Liability
By participating in Cats About Town Walking Tours, all guests agree to the following terms and conditions:
Assumption of Risk:
- Guests acknowledge and accept that walking tours involve certain inherent risks, including but not limited to: pedestrian accidents, interactions with animals, weather conditions, and other unforeseen circumstances.
- Guests voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in the walking tour.
Supervision of Minors:
- Parents or guardians must supervise children at all times during the tour. Cats About Town Walking Tours is not responsible for the safety of minors who are not adequately supervised.
Personal Belongings:
- Guests are responsible for their personal belongings during the tour. Cats About Town Walking Tours is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal items.
Health and Safety:
- Guests must ensure they are physically capable of participating in the walking tour. It is recommended to wear appropriate clothing and footwear suitable for walking.
- In case of any medical emergency, guests are responsible for their health and well-being. Cats About Town Walking Tours will not be held liable for any medical issues that arise during the tour.
Weather Conditions:
- The tour will proceed in light rain; guests are advised to bring an umbrella or rain gear.
- In the event of severe weather conditions, Cats About Town Walking Tours reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the tour. Guests will be notified as soon as possible and given the option to reschedule or receive a refund.
Conduct and Behavior:
- Guests must follow the instructions of the tour guide and adhere to safety guidelines provided at the beginning of the tour.
- Any disruptive or dangerous behavior may result in the guest being asked to leave the tour without a refund.
Waiver of Liability:
- By participating in the walking tour, guests waive any and all claims against Cats About Town Walking Tours, its owners, employees, and agents for any injury, loss, or damage incurred during the tour.
Indemnification:
- Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cats About Town Walking Tours, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, actions, or liabilities resulting from their participation in the tour.
Jurisdiction:
- This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York.
By booking a tour with Cats About Town Walking Tours, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to this disclaimer and waiver of liability.
